Becuase unfortunately I've been away for so long all of you are gonna (going to.. me like slang) expect a meaningful post. Which gives me a handful to think about cause I cant just put up a joke and get away with it.

 

 

Why is it that a lot of people work so hard yet with no result? Whereas some people work so little with amazing results?

I've seen.. over my illutstrious career of 18 years as a human being that some people seem to just effortlessly get along in life.
Is it really true? Are some people just naturally smarter than others?

I've been talking to people. My Dad, Mom, friends and I've learnt a few things myself.

I hope I can express this properly but one fault lies in people perception of themselves. I've heard so many people say this (and with honesty and conviction) "Why have I not done well? I worked so hard!". What people don't realize is that.. maybe it wasn't enough. Maybe what we think is working hard enough isn't really. People tend to get self involved and so absorbed in themselves. "I" studied hard. "I" worked hard. "I" deserved it. Listen up people! The world doesn't give a fuck about how hard you worked, the world doesn't give a crap about what you think you deserve. The world looks at results.
Maybe you don't need to work hard. "Work smart" is what dad tells me. Maybe the way you study isn't whats needed to get results. For example, let me pick an instance from my own personal experiences. I studied really hard at the end of my 12th grade but I just wasn't getting results. I would stay up all night to study. Yet I had such poor grades. WHY? I'll tell you why. The way I was studying was all wrong. I was reading too much and writing too little. I started writing and in a month I jumped a mighty 20%!

I was working hard both times. Infact when I started writing I thought I was spending lesser time studying. I was just working smart.

It is true though. Some people are just brilliant. Unfortunately in today's day and age that hardly matters. If you work hard you are liable to do better than the smart guy. Cause lets just face it. There are 4 million other people around the world competing with you. A bit of smartness here or there doesn't make a huge difference.

I mean lets face it. You can work hard at wooing a girl you really like. But if you really aren't doing a good job of it you are certainly not gonna get her :P
